"ROLL YER OWN" local animation

was a SUPER SUCCESS!

here she is folks, a real beau(t).

"Maniacal" (dir. Em Kempf - Stopmo/Traditional - 4:48) This was Em Kempf's first foray into animation. It is a fine example of an artist taking sketchbook work and stretching it into another medium. She has a unique visual style, which she may find difficult to work with in animation. However, if she finds the patience, and she may find herself fine tuning or minimalizing her drawing technique, she does have a poetic and transfiguring vision that could well serve future projects.

Grand opening Sat. May 31st

WonderRoot was founded in 2004 in response to Atlanta's need for an organization that unites artists and community advocacy. We believe that artists have the potential to change the world. Musicians, photographers, writers, filmmakers, and artists of all other mediums have the ability to communicate globally moving freely through the barriers of language and geographical restraints. In a society that receives much of its information through the media, the most effective way to implement positive change is through using media resources. We are artists giving back to the community that has done so much to inspire us.

They have a recording studio, a digital media lab, a dark room...
